Shop small!

I always believe in shopping small! This holiday season, if you are able to— shopping small will make a HUGE difference. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many talented and hardworking business owners here in Ohio and Michigan.

I saw a meme recently that said: “When you support a small business an actual person does a happy dance”, and I’m all for people doing happy dances!

I have been working on a list, and with some additions from so many of you, I’m ready to share it! I kept it true to businesses from Ohio and Michigan (or people who have since moved, but have roots here). I just KNOW there is something for everyone on your holiday shopping list! (Or some ideas to add to your own wishlist, teehee)

  • Makers Mart // Handmade Toledo- This is a great source of everything handmade in Toledo and surrounding areas! It’s virtual this year so you can still get your local handmade art and goodies!

    • The Handmade Toledo brick and mortar store is open and has many of the usual goodies at the mart there all year round!

  • Crafty Mart- Another source for all things handmade this one focuses on Akron and surrounding areas. (Cleveland friends, this is for you!) They are also going virtual this year and have all the information on their website. Click the link!
