Kim + David || Wedding
These two just had their 2nd anniversary and I thought it would be fun to revisit this F U N as hell day to celebrate! WOO!! Ok, so I don’t even know where to begin with these two. (I say that every time but I’m serious— I have the best couples and I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN, OK?!?!) But for real, these two are amazing. They currently live out of town so we actually didn’t get to meet (in person) until the actual day of the wedding. That didn’t matter and we instantly hit it off!! *Imagine the “Did we just become best friends?!?” “YEP!” scene from Stepbrothers. That was us. I wish I could take credit for it but it definitely helped that the love these two have for each other radiates. You can’t help but laugh with them, cry with them (which we aaaallll did during their vows) and D A N C E the night away with them!
They chose to do a first look which gave us a flexible timeline and we had free reign of the Valentine Theatre in downtown Toledo. It was a dream! Sidenote: I just went to get the Valentine Theatrewebsite for that link and on the main page they were advertising a Bohemian Rhapsody sing along on April 13th. SO YEAH, I FOUND MY PLANS FOR THAT WEEKEND!
Kim and David- Thank you for having me document your day. It was the most fun day and that dance party was so EPIC that I seriously daydream about it to this day!
I asked them a couple questions after their big day and this is what they had to say:
What was your favorite part of your day?
David's favorite part was "the whole day" haha He said he loved the whole thing but if he had to choose one thing it would be spending the entire night and experience with me. He said he was happy we actually got to have fun and enjoy each other on our wedding day and we weren't crazy busy. My favorite part was also the whole day haha but I loved taking pictures with just David and I after the ceremony and I also loved dancing the night away with all of our friends and family!!
What is advice you have for future couples?
Do your research on good vendors and the day will run smoothly!!! We loved all of ours! Also, although the days leading up to the wedding are stressful and a little intense, on the day of be able to relax and take it all in! It all goes by so fast and you will want to replay every minute in your mind. Take a few minutes after the ceremony to spend with just your husband/wife!!!
